A one-day walking tour on Saturday 4 November, 10.00 am to 4.00 pm

North Belfast grew along the Antrim Road in the 19th Century evolving within 50 years from farmland and country estates, to a middle class and finally mixed income area. Who were the ‘builders’ (including architects, construction firms and developers)?  We walk from Clifton House to Carlisle Circus and along the Antrim Road to Fortwilliam and Belfast Castle viewing builders’ work and the Belfast Waterworks.  Meet at the Queen Street Antrim Road bus route start.  Lunch opportunity available.  (Please note lunch is not included in the cost of the course.)
